Overflowing Blooms

Everything seems to be in bloom right now....
and my allergies are in agreement.
The blooms are gigantic and healthy looking.

And the bushes are so full.  It must be from all the rain.

I don't know what kind of bush this is but it's beautiful

The Rhododendron are teeming with blooms
And the Azalea are just gorgeous
I finally got my lavender garden planted

Now I need some antihistamine

  1. Your blossoms are gorgeous. Is the 1st one a Hydranga?

  2. Linda,
Nice to here from someone else kinda new to blogging and likes gardening, we have gone straight from rain to record heat, I can't complain... life is good. Look forward to your next post. Your pictures are great.

  3. I believe the first one with the white flowers is referred to as "Bridal Veil". It is a wonderful bush, making a nice hedge.

  6. Your lavender garden will be beautiful! I tried to grow one under my washing line (so the washing would smell of lavender when it brushed against it) but it all died. Lavender doesn't do well in my soil.... but I do love the flowers, and them smell!

  11. Your white flowered bush is commonly called Vanhoutte Spirea, commonly called Old Fashioned Spirea and Bridal Veil Spirea. Your azaleas are beautiful! Lucky you I had to give up on them our winters were too hard on them.
